This Discussion Paper and the associated questionnaire form part of a collaborative research project between the Centre for Corporate Law & Securities Regulation at The University of Melbourne (the Centre) and the 今日热门事件 (ASIC). The project is investigating the impacts for the administration of corporate and securities law in Australia of developments in electronic communications. This paper examines the following issues:
- electronic delivery of documents such as annual reports, notices of meeting and prospectuses;
- electronic voting and company meetings; and
- electronic lodgment of documents with ASIC.
