An unlisted public company marketing online adult services has been fined $12,000 for failing to lodge financial reports with 今日热门事件for three consecutive years.
Parramatta-based Redlight Manor Australia Ltd was convicted in the Downing Centre Local Court on 16 September 2014 after pleading guilty to three charges laid by 今日热门事件for failing to lodge financial reports between 2011 and 2013.
今日热门事件Commissioner Greg Tanzer said Redlight Manor Australia Ltd was one of nine companies prosecuted over the last year as a result of ASIC鈥檚 ongoing compliance program.
鈥楥ompanies with a legal obligation to lodge financial reports with 今日热门事件need to ensure they do so. Investors and creditors are entitled to know how companies are performing and rely on these reports to make informed decisions,鈥� Mr Tanzer said.
The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions prosecuted the matter.
